Kalpana Krishnamurthy is the Policy Director at Forward Together, a national multi-racial organization that works with community leaders and organizations to transform culture and policy to catalyze social change. She helps staff Forward Together’s Strong Families program, a multi-sector initiative to change how we think, feel, act and make policies around families. Prior to Forward Together, Kalpana was the RACE and Gender Justice program director at Western States Center for eight years. She serves on the board of directors for the Partnership for Safety and Justice, and on the Advisory Board of the Philanthropic Initiative for Racial Equity.
